More Details...Community Resilience Policy

The Community and Regional Resilience Institute is a policy resource. We are not looking to influence public policy; however we do make ourselves available to policy makers at the national, state and local level with information regarding the effects of resilience on local, regional and national economies. CARRI has information available through several routine publications and we also provide information at the request of, or tailored to, key policy and decision makers. The knowledge gained from our community resilience practice and our research efforts provide practical information for policy makers that is grounded in community reality and bolstered by academic study.
Through our annual National Resilience Roundtable, the publication of papers and by hosting and participating in workshops and seminars, CARRI assists leaders at all levels as they work to make our nation’s communities more resilient. If your job is to influence national or state policy and you need someone to help you do that, or if you are in need of an objective, unbiased view (about community resilience) then we are the place to find that information. We provide forums for dialogue, for both policy makers and academia.
